The Vermont Farm Show Foundation is excited to announce that we adopted a new mission in August of 2025 in preparation of changing our federal non-profit status to best serve the future of agriculture in Vermont.
MISSION The Vermont Farm Show builds knowledge and community among farmers and the general public while celebrating Vermont’s diverse agricultural sector.
PURPOSE
Gather – all people together in a celebration of Vermont agriculture
Educate – everyone, including farmers and future farmers to support a vibrant and diverse agricultural sector in Vermont
Engage – all people through sharing access to resources and providing visibility to the variety of products produced by Vermont’s farmers
Enhance – Vermont’s agricultural activities by highlighting services and resources, and creating connections and access to information
Ensure – a diverse agricultural future for Vermont through embracing all types and scales of agriculture, and educating people of opportunities to support Vermont farmers and farming
